December fiction. poems (4 max.)
We like our fiction two ways:
flash fiction (1000 words and under) 3 pieces max.
and short fiction (3000 words max.) 1 piece
We like calibri font, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing and would love reviews of short story collections by Irish writers(1000 words).
The contemporary short story is at the heart of The Incubator, however, we also love memoir, plays, essays and poems too. We have special issues for these (please see above).
Simultaneous submissions are accepted, just let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. We only publish NEW writing, so please ensure that it has not already been published – this includes on public forums and personal blogs.

We are also open to pitches for interviews.
Please do not send a biography, but do let us know where you heard about the journal.
