Can you write a 500 word short story with a Christmas feel on the theme of ‘The Secret’?

This week Ireland AM launched it short story competition in association with Women’s Way Magazine  – they are looking for traditional Christmas Spirit short stories with the theme of ‘The Secret’ (judges tip: this doesn’t have to be the title – with only 500 words, make your title work for you!)

The competition will be judged by Aine Toner, editor of Women’s Way, Bob Johnson of The Gutter Bookshop and Writing.ie’s Vanessa Fox O’Loughlin – the winner will be announced just before Christmas. Closing date is 12th December so you don’t have much time to enter!

The winning entry will be published in the Christmas edition of Women’s Way magazine and read out live on Ireland AM.

Email a story of no more than five hundred words to irelandam@tv3.ie, before 5pm on Friday, December 12th.

You can also post them to:
Bord Gais Energy Book Club,
TV3
Westgate Business Park
Ballymount,
