Submissions are now open to find ten outstanding authors to launch their books simultaneously at one, highly-publicised event in London on June 3rd, 2015. This event is open to writers publishing traditionally and independently, and will celebrate great books from emerging authors writing on the theme of Inspiring People and Places.

Hundreds of thousands of books are published every year, and for the indie author or small press, it is becoming increasingly hard to get your book noticed over the masses.
So how can we ensure that good books get the attention they deserve?
At CompletelyNovel, we’re always looking for ways to provide our authors with further opportunities. Last year, we launched One Big Book Launch – an event that harnesses the power of collaboration and enables emerging authors to get the attention they deserve. The launch was a huge success and we have been inundated with calls to host another launch in 2015.
Together, we can give your book the launch it deserves and kick-start your marketing in style – however you’re published.
WHAT AUTHORS RECEIVE
One Big Book Launch is taking place again in 2015, and will see 10 top authors launch books with family and friends, press and readers. All authors included in the One Big Book Launch will receive:
- Extensive PR and marketing as part of the One Big Book Launch, from all partners, sponsors and other authors taking part in the event.
- A dedicated table at the event where you can sign and sell books.
- A slot on stage during the evening to talk about/read from your book to 200 readers and press.
- An Author Pack, to include full details on the event, unique discounts and vouchers, an exclusive website badge and marketing advice from experts.
- 5 reserved tickets to the event for family and friends.
- Hire of a top London venue, with wine, soft drinks and nibbles provided for all guests.
Authors celebrating at One Big Book Launch 2014
There is a £149 event fee to be included in the launch, to contribute towards the hire of a central London venue, catering and extensive marketing (usually upwards of £3,000).
2015 THEME - 'INSPIRING PEOPLE AND PLACES'
This year, we’re asking authors to submit books for inclusion on the theme ‘Inspiring People and Places’. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Travel journals and tales of exploration
- Fiction and non-fiction on business tycoons and entrepreneurs
- True stories of triumph over adversity

Submissions are now open for authors to submit their books for inclusion in the One Big Book Launch. This event is open to all authors:
- Publishing traditionally and independently
- Publishing physical, print copies of their books
- Whose books were published after 1st September 2014
- Whose books fit our 2015 theme of ‘Inspiring People and Places’
Important message for authors who have published eBooks only: The launch will require you to have physical copies available to sign at the event. In order to be eligible, please start creating a print edition, here.

The judging process
