Stanzas is an event for emerging writers based in Limerick, Ireland. It takes place on the third Friday of every month and showcases poetry, prose, plays, music, and art.
We also produce a monthly chapbook featuring work from those withing the group. Each chapbook is themed - for instance, February was "Anti Love." December was "Winter". Each chapbook takes poetry of up to 40 lines, prose of up to 1000 words and up to four pieces of black and white sketches. While we cannot offer a fee for acceptance, we do keep a free copy of the chap for you. If you can't make it on the night we'll post it out.

While we're Limerick based at the moment, we are continually drawing in audience members from the wider munster and Ireland region. We aim to be inclusive. That's inclusive of creativity, of people and of ideas. We'd love to see you there, and if we can't see you there we'd love to see you in the chapbooks.
