ANNOUNCING: THE ROGER ROSENBLATT $1,000 PRIZE FOR COMIC ESSAY.

Judged by the wonderfully funny Patricia Marx.

Submit your short comedic essays (no more than 5,000 words) to TSR’s first annual Roger Rosenblatt Comic Essay Contest! We won’t even try to tell you what we’re looking for. The comic impulse resists definition, and we like it that way. But if your comic muse has led you to an essay that you consider a match, throw caution to the wind and send it to us.

Entry fee is $15 per submission. Winners will be notified on or before June 15, 2015, and will be honored during the 2015 Southampton Writers Conference.

1st Place: $1000 and publication in the Summer 2015 issue of The Southampton Review.

Finalist stories will be considered for publication in our print journal and for TSR Online.
